- My favorite fun fact about this is that Union Carbide used to be headquartered in 270 Park Ave in NYC. They sold it in 1983 when the city was in bad shape for a pittance. They spent a lot more money building this Danbury campus, which became less and less valuable over time as 270 Park became more and more valuable.
