- Electric Ladyland has been the most well known and popular shop in New Orleans for over a decade. Originally opened Uptown by Ernie Gosnell, it was later sold to Annette LaRue, who opened the downtown location at 610 Frenchmen Street. In 2012, Annette decided to retire, and passed the shop on to long time employee and client favorite Ed Dieringer.
