Originally named the Boyd N. Sheppard, she was owned by Harrison Sheppard (the managing owner), Frank Sheppard, Moses Bateman, and Thomas A. Rogers.

    Have not traveled recently but this was the schooner we sailed on for our honeymoon back in 1979. we visited the Isaac H. Evans last august but was unable to sail that day. Visited the crew and they let us board it since we honeymooned back in 1979. The schooner was owned by Linda and Doug Lee then and I learned it now is renamed Boyd N. Sheppard.
